Our TimberNook camps provide nature-based play experiences for children that challenge the senses and inspire creativity, independence, and imagination in the great outdoors! This summer will feature four unique camp sessions.  

Extreme Art
Ages 5-10 years July 24-July 28
Your child will collaborate with others to create grand-scale works of art from scratch! If you believe your child will enjoy art experiences embedded in child-led play, then this is the program for them!

Enchanted
Ages 5-10 years June 26 – June 30
Children will dive deep into their imaginations as they bring dramatic roles to life in the Land of Oz during this magical TimberNook program. Children will have the opportunity to create, build, explore, and play in the great outdoors as they follow the yellow brick road to the great Emerald City.

Going Wild
Ages 7-12 years July 17-21
This classic TimberNook program is for older children who enjoy taking play to a whole new level through collaborative, creative, and sensory-immersive experiences with friends new and old. We guarantee a week full of adventure, games, and surprises!

Summer Camp FAQS

Registration and Refunds

Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your child’s space. Due to limited space, refunds will not be given. There will be no proration of fees for any day(s) a child participant cannot attend.

Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures

Children must arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their session and be picked up no later than 15 minutes after the end of their program. Parent/guardian should walk their child to the gymnasium and check their child in with the instructor for their program at the assigned table.

Late Pick-up Policy

There will be a late fee for children who are picked up 16 minutes or later after their program ends. The late fee is $1 for every minute late after the 15 minute grace period.

Dress Code

Camp may require a lot of moving and running. Please send children with close toed shoes and appropriate clothing for the camp they have registered for. You can send a change of clothes if necessary. Clothing that displays drugs, alcholol, tobacco, offensive language, excessive bagginess, or is excessively revealing will not be permitted.

Personal Belongings

LCA is not responsible for personal belongings. Please label everything clearly. Children should not bring toys, electronic devices, jewelry, money or any possessions of value with them to camp.

Sunscreen/Insect Repellent

Please apply sunscreen and insect repellent prior to the start of each camp session if your child will be outside. Children may bring sunscreen or bug spray with them – spray or mist options are recommended. Sunscreen and/or insect repellant must be labeled with child’s name. Children may not share these items with anyone who is not a sibling.

Snacks/Lunch/Water Bottles

Please pack your camper with a water bottle and snack for 1⁄2 day programs. For full day programs, a water bottle, two snacks and a lunch are needed. Microwaves are available.
